Favorite articles of the week

I know it's only Thursday, but it's been a good week for internet content. Most notably, from Dave Tate and Elitefts. Check out some informative technique seminars here. Also, you could win a free iPad. So that's cool too.

Eric Cressey makes the case for continuing education of trainers (and how to go about doing it) here.

And, a great article breaking down the squat can be found here.

Hope everybody finds those interesting. I promise I'll get some video content and articles up soon.

Welcome to the blog!

I wanted to welcome everyone and extend my sincerest gratitude for checking out my blog. I plan on using this as a forum to post information about the human body and how to facilitate progress in both performance and aesthetics. I will be both writing posts and sharing links to articles that I find to be credible and informative. I will also be creating instructional videos discussing techniques and ideas for fun and effective work outs.

A little background on me…

My name is Corey Goldstein and I am certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). As an athlete, I have extensive experience in Baseball, Tae Kwon Do, Krav Maga, and Wrestling, with limited experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Boxing. I participate in recreational Powerlifting and Strongman training.

I became a personal trainer because I am passionate about helping people reach their goals. I consider the success of my clients to be my own success, and appreciate the opportunity to have an influential role in helping someone change their life for the better. I am also very interested in athletics and progressing an athlete’s performance.

Thanks again for stopping by,

Corey Goldstein, CSCS
